US POSTAGE SCIENCE FICTION STAMP

The United States stamp photo above depicts an advanced space technology not yet realized by NASA. Note the solar system scene. The planet in the background is Jupiter. The craft orbits one of Jupiter's moons. Examination of ths vehicle indicates it is manned. The most ambitious of space plans calls for a manned voyage to Mars. A voyage to Jupiter is out of the question for the foreseeable future.

US STAMP COMMEMORATING THE FIRST LUNAR LANDING

The above United States Postage Service commemorative stamp depicts an Apollo astronaut saluting the flag of the United States of America.

PULP SCIENCE FICTURE POSTAGE STAMPS

The above artwork was partitioned into United States postage stamps. The style of the art is characteristic of the science fiction "pulps" (fictional magazines of the 1930s). Note the pair of rocketeers with their back mounted propulsion systems. The art includes a battleship-like spacebase with a trio of Flash Gordon type sortie craft leaving for a journey into the cosmos. To the left of the rocketeers, two cities in space with their characteristic "bubble dome" atmospheres rocket to an unknown destination.
