DISCUSSION

ROCKETS, a SCIENCE SERVICE publication, dealt with the history, science and technology of rocket propulsion. While the publication was a very fine summary of rocketry, one error appeared on page 19 with regard to the Saturn V rocket. The boost system shown appears as a NOVA class rocket with additional engines clustered about the Saturn V's core. Had this booster been built, Americans would have dispatched manned missions to the planets by now.
