SPACE TOY ROCKET ARTIFACTS

DISCUSSION

The assorted rocket ships and spacecraft pictured above represent toy makers efforts at replicating space technology. While some accurately reflect science, others are simply created for a child's enjoyment. The child's toy shuttle on the right falls into the "toy type" category. Should such a vehicle orbit the Earth, the pair of seated astronauts could not survive without spacesuits.
