SKYLAB ARTIFACTS
The above advertisement was one of many which appeared in newspapers
and advertising materials in the vicinity of the Johnson Space Center during
the July 1979 month of Skylab's reentry.
The above first day cover depicts the breakup of the Skylab space station. Madrid was the location
of one of the Skylab tracking stations, an appropriate site for the issuing of a reentry stamp commemorative
cover.
