SEVEN INTO SPACE (The Story of the Mercury Astronauts) - circa 1960

DISCUSSION
Though the cover of SEVEN INTO SPACE appears to be a children's story about
the Mercury astronauts, the text is written for an older audience. After
the original seven astronauts sold first person rights of their stories to a
major publisher, interest ebbed in authoring stories about them. Author
Bell decided to write his perspective of the men.
