DISCUSSION
CAPE CANAVERAL by Lt. Walter Ryland, U.S. Air Force, published by Nelson
Doubleday, Inc. in 1962, dealt with the history of Cape Canaveral, and how
rockets were processed and launched.
Perhaps, the most interesting of the booklets listed below is the first
which is titled MAN IN SPACE. It discusses early plans to put men on the
Moon. The booklet was published in 1962 before these plans were approved.
The approach for landing men on the moon set forth in MAN IN SPACE was never implemented.
