DISCUSSION
The Annotated Jules Verne: From the Earth to the Moon by Walter James Miller
was first published in 1978 by Thomas Y. Crowell, Publishers. A later
reprint of the original work was produced. This is a fascinating
examination of the author Jules Verne, the technology of his era, and
underlying space exploration themes found in Verne's book. Especially
interesting are discussions comparing the known technology of the twentieth
century with Verne's contemporary science and engineering.
