The Mercury Project was the United States initial manned spaceflight effort. The Mercury spacecraft contained one astronaut.


APOLLO 8 STAMP

FIRST MAN ON THE MOON STAMP

The Apollo 11 mission landed the first men from the planet Earth on the Moon, July 20, 1969.


APOLLO LUNAR ROVER STAMP

The Apollo Lunar Rover, a moon-car, gave the lunar explorers greater range in their expeditions on the Moon's surface.


SKYLAB STAMP

The Skylab Program utilized Apollo spacecraft and rockets to construct America's first space station. Astronauts spent months in space within the Skylab.


UNITED STATES AND SOVIET COOPERATION IN SPACE STAMP
